Here are some tips to succeed in your job interview.



 

Before interview

  • It is mandatory to be on time at a job interview.
  • Be prepared to tell about yourself. Such as greatest strength, why should company hire you? Your salary expectations, reason for leaving your current role
  • Understand your Job description, post applied and Do your research on the company.
  • Use 3 P method that is Practice, practice, practice.
  • Consider possible interview questions.
  • Perform your answers with a friend or parents answering questions
  • Practice good manners and body language.

During interview

  • Be punctual at your interview, time management is important
  • Bring copies of your resume, a notebook and pen.
  • Make a great first impression 
  • Dress properly.
  • Be professional 
  • Smile 
  • Be polite with everyone and Project enthusiasm.
  • Listen carefully and Make eye contact
  • Eliminate distractions
  • Give specific examples and ask questions.
  • Treat everyone you encounter with respect
  • Respond truthfully to the questions asked
  • Keep your answers concise and focused

After interview

  • Ask about next steps
  • Give thank note
  • Be positive
  • If interview not succeeded, learn from mistake, Apply to next with confidence and determination.
